Where do I start?

Hi, 

Well, where do I start? Maybe a little introduction...

My name is Maddie, I am 19 years old and I live in the UK. For about 6 or maybe even 7 years now I've been watching YouTube videos and following makeup gurus. The reason I'm here today is that I finally built up the courage to start my own blog. Of course I'm not courageous enough to start my own YouTube channel, but I figured that a little blog won't do any harm.

As you probably already figured it out I hold a certain interest in all things makeup. 6 years of watching YouTube videos has inspired me greatly. When I first discovered how much you can learn from watching other people do their makeup my skills improved too. I began to recognise brands of makeup my friends didn't even hear of.

Today I’m still learning. No I don’t think I'm a makeup artist or specialist. I’m just doing this to help me find myself, my hobby and to keep me busy. My little pleasure and of course an excuse to buy more makeup and use the excuse ‘I need to review it on my blog’ whilst purchasing, or even looking at the price tag. This is also another thing to keep me sane… lots of university and work will do that to you. Best thing is, I will be able to blog on the go too. This will put a purpose to my very long journeys to uni (only me could pick a university so far away from home, then decide that living in the city isn't her thing and decide to commute from home).

If you’re wondering about the blog name too, I don’t know why I picked this name. I’ll probably think it’s a terrible idea in the future and regret it. But for now it will do.
