Kevin Murphy!!

Hi,

Maddie here. I figured I might as well post something more than an introduction. Since this is a beauty blog I might as well start now. Better sooner than later ;)
So I figured my first beauty post should be a review since it should be easy. Then I thought why not review something that you really love and use on a very regular basis.

Kevin Murphy!!

For the past 2 months I’ve been using new shampoo and hair mask (not a conditioner, I’ll explain why soon)

So I used to be bleach blonde, and I mean the type of bleach blonde that I would buy my own box hair dye, mess up the colour and in the process absolutely dry out and ruin my hair. So after about 5 years I decided to get a grip and sort myself out. I went to the hair dressers. She wasn’t impressed. But then again is not surprised my hair was literally the consistency of dry grass. It was terrible. So we talked about what I wanted to do and how we could go about it without having to cut off ALL of my hair. Thankfully it was possible to keep my length (It took 4 hours but it was worth it). The hair stylist I go to uses strictly Kevin Murphy in her salon. That’s where I fell in love with it.
Now onto the important stuff… so after like 3 hours my hair was dyed (I got highlights and low lights) and the dye was ready to be washed off and my hairdresser was telling me all these amazing things about Kevin Murphy brand. She said it was all natural ingredients, water based, works amazing and she hasn’t even used any other shampoo since she began to use KM! I was so impressed and then she told me the price… £18 for a bottle of shampoo that isn’t even that big! My heart dropped … me being me I was always the Treseme girl that bought it when it was on offer haha! So as you can imagine when I heard £18 for a bottle of shampoo. But this stuff is like gold in the bottle. New lease of life for your hair. I love it! I also paid £21 for the hair mask (as said before my hair was the consistency of hay, so I needed a hair mask to give it more hydration) but that stuff is good too! I wash my hair twice a week (that’s all it needs) and since using this shampoo and hair mask my hair has never felt so much softer! I couldn’t recommend it more!

The product I use is the ‘hydrate me’ range. The smells are amazing (for some reason it reminds me of chocolate orange). Kakadu Plum, Hydrolysed Silk Extracts, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin C, Bergamot Essential Oil and Evening Primrose Oil are all natural ingredients. The shampoo doesn’t have as much salt as your normal supermarket shampoos have so it doesn’t lather the same (still lathers beautifully) and it doesn’t dry your hair as much. It got rid of my split ends very quickly. I’m literally in love!

If there was anything I would recommend the most out of all the products I currently use. Especially for hair it would be the Kevin Murphy range. It is on a pricey side I guess but it’s worth the money and the shampoo is well concentrated. Your hair will thank you for it. You can purchase the shampoo at some hairdressers but it can be also found online https://www.kevinmurphystore.com

Let me know what you think!

Maddie
